About the Washington State Senior Games
The Washington State Senior Games, now in its 29th year, is the largest Olympic-style multi-sport event in Washington, with 25 different sports to participate in. It will be held from mid-June to mid-September 2026 at various sites throughout the South Sound. Nearly 1,800 participants took part in the 2025 Senior Games. The Washington State Senior Games is an OPEN competition, welcoming all residents of Washington State as well as athletes from other states and countries.
The Washington State Senior Games is an all-volunteer 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a forum that initiates and encourages camaraderie through athletic competition and the Olympic spirit. The event assists in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and promotes positive healthy activities for the participants, their families, and the communities where they live.
Events for the 2026 Washington State Senior Games include:
Archery, Badminton, Ballroom Dance, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Bowling, Cowboy Action Shooting, Cycling, Disc Golf, Golf, Pickleball, Power Walking, Race Walking, Racquetball, Rock Climbing, 5 & 10K Runs, Shuffleboard, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, Trap Shooting, and Volleyball.

Delta Dental of Washington and WSSG
Delta Dental of Washington's mission is to disrupt, transform, and revolutionize the oral health industry in order to remove barriers to health care and improve overall health. The Washington State Senior Games' mission is to promote health and fitness throughout the year for people from 50 years of age to 100+ through participation, competition and education. With both organizations' grassroots residing in Washington State and the majority of Individual and Family Plan members over the age of 50, it only made sense to partner with an organization that cares about and supports the WA senior population health as much as we do.
2026
This summer, our team is excited to attend the Soccer Tournament on August 1, 2026 from 9am-1pm at Regional Athletic Complex 8345 Steilacoom Rd SE Lacey, WA 98513
Past Years
In 2024, we had an absolute blast attending WSSG's Track and Mixed Pickleball events and meeting over 800 seniors along with their families and spectators. Our very own Delta Dental of Washington Senior Tooth Fairy made her debut and had the honor of handing out medals and oral health kits to athletes.
In 2025, we brought back the Tooth Fairy and gave out hundreds of more oral health kits at the WSSG Basketball and Mixed Doubles Pickleball tournaments.
Participate
With 25 different sports and events, you can choose to participate in one event or many events. Note that all athletes must be 50 years old by December 31, 2026, to compete in the Senior Games.
Volunteer
As WSSG is an all-volunteer 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, volunteers are essential in making the games a success.
