Teaming Up for Healthy Smiles

For the third year in a row, Delta Dental of Washington is proud to sponsor and partner with the Washington State Senior Games (WSSG) to promote oral and overall health for seniors.

This year, we took the field alongside more than 200 athletes competing in men’s, women’s and walking soccer. With 13 teams battling it out for a chance to qualify for Nationals, there was no shortage of competition and smiles! The weather may have been cold, rainy and wet, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of the athletes, who brought their A-game and showed what it means to stay healthy, active and having fun at every stage of life.

On the sidelines, our team and the Tooth Fairy were cheering on the competitors and connecting with seniors ages 50 and older. We handed out more than 160 oral health kits to athletes and spectators, sharing resources to help keep their smiles healthy both on and off the field. Our company banner was also proudly on display, adding a little extra team spirit to the day.

The Washington State Senior Games is all about keeping people active, healthy and engaged throughout the year. The organization promotes health and fitness for people ages 50 to 100+ through participation, competition and education.
