Shawn McWashington serves as Delta Dental of Washington’s Head of Product Distribution and Sales Strategy, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across insurance, financial services, and high-growth organizations. Shawn McWashington serves as Delta Dental of Washington’s Head of Product Distribution and Sales Strategy, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across insurance, financial services, and high-growth organizations. A Washington State University graduate and former member of the record-setting 1997 Rose Bowl football team, he is known for his customer-centric approach and his ability to build scalable, high-performing sales organizations. Shawn began his career advising some of the Northwest’s most complex commercial clients, earning recognition as a top performer early in his career. He later led national B2B sales efforts for a fast-growing voluntary benefits provider, contributed to turning around commercial lending profitability at a regional financial institution, and further refined his commitment to operational excellence and customer obsession while working in the technology sector. At Delta Dental of Washington, Shawn leads sales strategy, broker engagement, and growth initiatives across dental and emerging voluntary benefits. He is deeply energized by the organization’s mission to remove barriers to oral health and expand access to care statewide.
