Welcome Monty Robinson, Chief of Revenue

I have had the pleasure of working with Delta Dental of Washington for the past 22-years, most recently as the Vice President of Sales. It’s with mixed emotions that I share with each of you that I have formally announced my retirement. In preparation for my retirement, Delta Dental of Washington conducted an extensive nation-wide search to find a candidate that will elevate our business into the future while providing an exceptional experience to our customers for years to come.

I am pleased to introduce Monty Robinson, who has joined the Delta Dental team as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Monty has more than twenty years of healthcare and financial services leadership experience, a strong track record of new business development, revenue growth, and innovation.

In his most recent position, Monty served as the Mid-Atlantic Region, Public & Labor Segment President – Head of Sales and Service at Aetna, a CVS healthcare company. In this role, he was responsible for leading a sales and account management team covering a 5-state region representing over 1 million commercial medical members and delivering $1.6B in revenue. He was strategically focused on innovation, sales expansion, marketing, and distribution for business lines that included commercial medical, Medicare, dental, pharmacy and vision care products. Prior to this role, Monty held key senior leadership positions for sales at Aetna in the Southeast Region and at Nationwide Financial.

Monty holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management & Finance from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA in Marketing from Troy University in Alabama.
