The Tooth Fairy Joins Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
Every once in a while, the Tooth Fairy gets invited to participate in a very special project.
When not flying around collecting teeth, the Tooth Fairy travels the state teaching kids about caring for their smiles as part of the in-person and virtual presentation programs. But in their spare time, there’s nothing the Tooth Fairy loves more than a good storybook. So, when an invitation came in from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to host a storybook reading, the Tooth Fairy jumped for joy!
Dolly Parton created the Imagination Library in 1995 as a tribute to her father, whose inability to read and write led her to inspiring children around the world with the delivery of a free, high-quality book mailed to children from the day they are born until their fifth birthday, at no cost to a family.
Now through February, you can listen to the Tooth Fairy read The Night Before the Dentist by Natasha Wing and illustrated by Amy Wummer. This book is about a little boy’s adventure to the dentist office and his dentist, Dr. Keith.
