Smile with PRIDE: Pride in Spokane

For the first time ever, Delta Dental of Washington traveled to the east side of Washington last Saturday, June 10th, 2023, to celebrate with Spokane Pride.  

The Spokane Pride celebration was an all-day event that included a parade through downtown Spokane and a festival at Riverfront Park with food, music, and activities for families to gather and show their support for inclusion, community, and LGBTQIA+ joy!  

Delta Dental of Washington’s tooth fairies joined our booth to spread the magic by decorating fairy wings with anyone who wanted one. They were a big hit along with our free rainbow tooth brushes our Spokane team gave away during the parade.  

Our prize wheel also delivered some amazing Kraken Pride swag along with Seahawks gear, and Delta Dental socs, bags, and sun glasses.  

Diversity, equity and inclusion is an integral part of our Mission & Vision. We know that some communities get left behind when it comes to access to quality oral health providers and treatments. We are proud to sponsor and partner with Spokane Pride to support the LGBTQIA+ community, during Pride month, and all year long!
