Delta Dental of Washington is thrilled to announce that we reached our goal of 90% employee participation in our annual giving campaign. Our employees raised $39,661, which will be matched by the organization.
This year, we saw an incredible response from employees who united to support essential community programs dedicated to supporting housing and food security for all Washingtonians. Access to healthy and affordable food is essential for good oral health. Having safe and consistent housing is a basic need that, when unmet, makes achieving dental visits more difficult.
“While our organization contributes to community impact year-round, this week is the time of the year when we work together as one team to achieve a community-impact goal together,” says Diane Oakes, Delta Dental of Washington Chief Mission Officer.
Our 2024 campaign is focused on supporting four impactful community programs:
Each organization plays a vital role in creating a healthier, more resilient community across the state, from urban centers to rural communities. Delta Dental of Washington has offices in Seattle, Spokane, and Colville. In addition to serving people throughout our state, these organizations represent the communities in which the majority of our employees live.
To further encourage participation, we offered a match on all employee donations. As an added incentive, if 90% of employees contributed, all participants will receive an additional paid holiday in 2025 as recognition for their commitment to community impact.
