Delta Dental of Washington proudly participated in the American Heart Association's Puget Sound Heart and Stroke Walk, a remarkable event dedicated to raising funds for heart and stroke research.
We participate in the Puget Sound Heart and Stroke Walk to demonstrate our continued dedication to the health and well-being of our community. The annual Heart and Stroke Walk is a day filled with power, resilience, and celebration. Several Delta Dental of Washington team members joined the joyful day, participating in a 3-mile walk.
We also sponsored the Heart and Stroke Walk Fruit Stand, providing heart-healthy fruits to those participating in the event. At our table, we also had stickers for kids from the Tooth Fairy Experience program, handouts on healthy foods for oral health and heart health, free bamboo toothbrushes, and a fun brushing activity for younger participants.
The American Heart Association's Puget Sound Heart and Stroke Walk is an opportunity for individuals and businesses alike to come together, supporting groundbreaking research and educational programs aimed at preventing and treating heart disease and stroke. The event offers a meaningful way to show solidarity with those affected by these life-altering conditions.
Prior to the walk, Delta Dental of Washington team members joined together across all three of our office locations to raise more than $40,000.
