Introducing the Family Advantage Plan

Anyone who grew up in a big family knows the importance of being creative to help cut down on costs. Hand-me-down clothes, casserole nights and late night coupon clipping help trim down expenses. But, no one in your family should have to skip out on important dental health needs just because of the cost. So we created a brand-new dental plan designed with your family in mind.

How Family Advantage Works

You’ll Get a Per Person and Shared Benefit
Under this plan, each member covered has a per-person benefit of $1,000 for their own dental care. On top of that benefit, your entire household shares an additional shared benefit that any family member can dip into when necessary. The shared benefit = $250 per family member, up to a household limit of $1250.

Teeth Cleanings are Covered in Full for Your Family.
Preventive care procedures like teeth cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments and x-rays are covered in full, twice per year, with no waiting periods in this plan. This means that when you or a family member go to the dentist for dental cleanings, you won't have to pay anything out of pocket - not even a copay.

We Pay a 50% Benefit for Common Dental Services.
Even if you get your teeth cleaned on the regular, you may still have the occasional cavity. In these situations, Delta Dental will cover 50 percent of the cost, after deductible, for you and any enrolled member who requires a crown, filling, root canal, or non-surgical extraction.
