2010 Mom and Me at the Zoo:
Families enjoyed visiting the DD/WDS booth at Woodland Park Zoo’s 20th anniversary “Mom & Me at the Zoo” event.
Moms, dads and kids spun the wheel and answered questions on positive habits for good oral hygiene. The children’s toothbrush giveaway was just as big a hit as the giant DD/WDS toothbrush.

2010 Diabetes Expo:
“Kids” of all ages had fun interacting with DD/WDS's WeeCan, while volunteers educated
attendees on the importance of oral health in diabetes management. UW pre-dental student volunteers assisted
Dr. Larry Kuhl, DD/WDS chief dental consultant, with free oral health screenings for expo attendees.
