Supporting Community Health Centers' expansions and collaborations

Community Health Centers (CHCs) provide a safety net for Washington State health services, including dental care. CHCs serve many patients that would otherwise suffer without care or seek immediate help in hospital emergency rooms. Since 2000, the WDS Foundation has invested more than $2.7 million in CHCs and other non-profit oral health clinics across Washington State. This has increased access to care for low-income children and adults.

Partnering with the Washington Association of Community and Migrant Health Centers, WDS Foundation is supporting a “Dental Directors Learning Network” to help Dental Directors learn from each other, share successes and challenges, and develop ways to promote early intervention and preventive services in their clinics.
